Progressive Activist, With Coexist Bumper Sticker, Longs For World Without Republicans

The Potato Point Chronicle recently had the chance to sit down with local political activist and member of the Potato Point Progressive party – Hillary Kennedy-Goldstein to talk about the changes she’d like to bring to the world.

I can’t stand intolerant people, especially Republicans. Anyone who doesn’t think like me should just leave America. – Kennedy-Goldstein

Kennedy-Goldstein arrived in her eco-friendly hatchback car donned with a very large ‘Coexist’ bumper sticker on the back. The Coexist bumper sticker features many of the world’s religions to form the word ‘Coexist’.

On the topic of religion Kennedy-Goldstein had the following to say: “To me, coexistence really means, everyone giving up their own beliefs and adopting mine. Once everyone believes in the same thing (as me) coexistence finally prevails and world peace can finally be achieved.”

The religious right should not be allowed to believe and practice the things they do. Only progressive values should be allowed. – Kennedy-Goldstein

When it comes to politics Kennedy-Goldstein had some harsh things to say of her opponents: “I’m really tired of Republicans forcing their intolerant religious beliefs on society. For instance, just look at the anti-gay laws passed in Arizona recently. Why should we tolerate people who have different beliefs, especially those that are anti-gay? I can’t imagine living in a world where people don’t believe the same thing as the rest of us open-minded progressives. The definition of coexistence is progressive minded and nothing else.”

“We should make prayer illegal and ban churches. Also, anyone who owns a gun or hunts on their own land should be put in jail. I long for a world where we can all coexist, without Republicans and people I disagree with.”
