A terrible blow has been dealt to the 80’s pop community today. Owen and Luke Wilson, brothers of the super group Wilson-Phillips decided they can no longer ‘hold on for one more day’ and left the talented pop trio.

When asked why they’re leaving the greatest pop group since the Beatles, Owen and Luke had the following to say:

“Some day somebody’s gonna make you want to
turn around and say goodbye and that day is today” – Owen Wilson

“I used to think things can change, that things’ll go my way
but I can’t hold on for one more day” – Luke Wilson

Chynna Phillips plans to continue the group under the name ‘Phillips’. She’s also in talks with Carnie Flathead and Jane Magnavox and may possibly re-form the group under the moniker Flathead-Phillips-Magnavox.

The Wilson brothers are pushing forward with their lifelong dream of creating a sporting goods company that sells Volleyballs and Basketballs.
